I think my money tree is dead luckily I've effectively broken the S but already own the parts to rebuild it so the extra monies can be spent on yet more goodies...
What cams are you going to run with the charger?
James

Get the s on the road !! You havn't got too much to do, you get to the bottom to the bush problem ?
Will run the Piper BP285 cams - they should be good to run with the charger with a little bit of blow-through.

Haven't got time to work on the car at the moment sadly
But i'm hoping new unused bushes will do the trick
If not I've got some serious head scratching to do then see if a can hold the axle in place using washers and spacers so it can't physically droop of the bushes
Lowering the axle back down and then realigning isn't a job I'm looking forward to though...
James

Yeh I hope the new ones work, otherwise you'll almost have to bond them in. Good luck with it, let me know how you get on

Ross! Not too sure on that purple inlet now you've fitted it lol.
I think you need a fair few more purple bits in their to make it work.
However, looking good

The noise will be missed, but hopefully replaced with a good noise too. With the scuttle cut the TB noise is far from subtle

Thanks mate, I really don't like the colour purple in general and I don't really want to have loads of little purple bits everywhere I want it matt black eventually - also, got a box here for you, will pm you later on today

Yeh, it's definitely a thinker !
How is yours coming along - I'm just waiting on a few little clips/fuel lines and then should be able to get it started up and start to build up a nice basemap, then engine out time

In your opinion on a n/a car, would there be 'noticeable' gains between a
stock 106gti/vts inlet + inclosed induction kit,
c2 inlet + inclosed induction kit
Just weighing up if its worth putting one on mine..

which c2 inlet? The metal vts one (TU5JP4S) or the c2 plastic one (TU5JP4)?
It get s a bit more complicated as you need a cable throtle body setup, so you could run any cable one.
But also need to think about the Ecu map - with standalone it's fine as you can just tweak it with the wideband, but not sure standard ecu would like a different tb and inlet setup.
I'd stick with a standard saxo inlet tbh. as I'm yet to run the c2 inlet to give an opinion on it

Okie, i'll do abit more research first.
Would be the metal vts one i was thinking of. I'm planning on bodies in next couple months so when i saw your c2 inlet fitted a cheaper option to bodies came in mind. My money tree is also dieing lol.
Car has standard remapped ecu + c2 head, you're probably right it would require another remap or go standalone (£££). Best bang for buck would be sticking with my idea of getting bodies in next couple month (once the money tree has grown).

I'd just stick with the standard inlet, and then go bodies and standalone.
The c2 inlet setup would come fairly close price wise to a GSXR bodies setup.

Thanks ! I will miss the noise - anyone who has a set can vouch for the lovely noise then make! But the power of a charged setup with a nice plate diff should make up for it

I hope so, although am half tempted to go for a re-circ dump valve for a more oem noise.

Ja - just waiting on fuel clips to come in the post then I'll be good to start her up.
I'll get a few pics up of my fuel line setup when I get a chance.
It's pretty much like I had it with the TB's, not too hard to do.
You fitting your C2 inlet to a J4 head or JP4 ? As I found there is a difference on the inlet side of things.

JP4. Has already been fitted prior to me buying it/them so should be straight forwards.
