Default Piper 4-1 Manifold

Hello friends, I have a daft questions here but this has me stumped again lol

I have a Piper 4-1 Manifold on my Saxo... But it sounds like it has a leak, you know the hissing sound... The join from the manifold to the center pipe isn't leaking, you can't feel anything coming from it and if you block the backbox, there's still nothing coming from that join. However if you put your ear to the bit where the manifold bends around to go under the car it sounds like it's leaking from there, but I can't see any cracks, or soot marks. I sprayed foam all over it when it was cold but no bubbles... I just heat wrapped it and the leaking sound has got quieter, like muffled. Now am I being stupid, is this how they sound due to maybe the thickness of the pipe or something like that?

I've been trying to find the leak for about 3 months now, I've had it on and off with tons of new gaskets and stuff lol. Anyone got any ideas or know if they all sound the same?

Thanks

The noise is just the sound of the gasses in the pipework imo.

Is the noise just about gone when the car has warmed up?

Aww right thanks guys, and yes when it's cold it is really loud, as it's warming up it gets quieter lol and when I accelerate it is loud, not when going down gears or cruising though.

Anyways thanks for ya help I'm happy if that's how they all sound, I just couldn't stand the thought of having a leak lol
