Default saxo 'cat d' repair and modification

this is my saxo, which i had pre-damage, bought for 2.4k 1k spent on making it perect, then 5 days after the work was complete, some total arsehole pulls into the side of me on a roundabout 'because his windows were steamed up.'

anyway this is the result, a category d write off bought back for 400 quid.

parts required are:

track rod end (fitted and tracking set good enough for now)
black wing (awaiting delivery)
trim clips (awaiting delivery)
black backed headlights (buying them tommorrow)
slam pannel (awaiting delivery)
2x yokohama tyres (on order)
vts alloy (being refurbished)

bumper is also scratched and needs spraying so its going to be widemouthed then fully colour coded, same goes for the side strips and rear bumper

enjoy

not too bad from this side

today me and my girlfriend started work on the vts,
we removed the front bumper, widemouthed it, and deleted the tow hitch cover thing
removed the front arch trims, n/s door and quarter trims, and the rear bumper
rear bumper has had tow hitch deleted (tow hitch removed, so screwed if i need towing lol)
begun sanding and prepping the remoed pieces of vt kit (car will be fully colour coded gloss black

also purchased black backed standard lights (one was broken anyway)
smd's for speedo conversion
smd sidelight bulbs
smd side repeater bulbs
led front indicator bulbs
numberplate led's

also removed the spoiler and cleaned the previous 9 years of road shit from underneath it then replaced it on the car

general cleaning etc

removed 16v badges (tedious to get wax out of them)
tcut rear badges (can't afford full bot spray as well as full kit spray, so debadge is one for the near future

i think thats about it for now, i'l post some pics tomorrow when i've taken them

track rod end £18
wing £106 painted (new)

and then it needs taxing and insuring

but i'm just making it awesome while i have another car to use, so when i sell my bora and go back to the saxo, it's exactly how i want it to be
