Default Fuel filter wont come off

Im trying to change the fuel filter on my diesel but the fuel filter thats on it wont come off. No matter what i try it wont budge at inch, anybody have any ideas as to how i can get it off?

Ive looked for guides on here but all i can find are the methods to remove the petrol FF

Make sure you squeeze both the clips in at each side.

Its abit fiddly, maybe get a friend with a fresh pair of hands to have a try.

Ahhh, i never knew there were any clips on it, i resorted to using the Haynes to see if i was doing something wrong and even that didn't mention any clip. Thanks for that mate

As said squeeze botb end but im guessing you have done that if not just put a blunt knive in between the fuel fiter and pipe and try just to leaver it slightly ? Still cant do it take pictures ?

Clips should really be white on either side the the fuel lines push in hard and pull line watch out for fuel as mine took a few mintues and started pouring out zzz
