You need thinner coats on the chalkboard to stop those lines you are getting mate.
And you need to either roll or spray in opposite directions to get a decent finish
Apart from that, its looking good! Love the multicoloured drawing

Yeah, I keep meaning to do it properly. Haven't really had much chance recently for painting..Although I've had enough to Feck about once more with Chalk. Im off college until thursday so if i get chance I'll get the rest of the car done, and take down the exisiting paint abit to get it a tad smoother.
Please excust the "2K11" on the grill..my mates are uneducated.

Yeah the Bonnet was the 1st thing I did..so I wasn't expecting a decent finish It needs to be Done again anyway so i can sand it back again and get it ok..Fingers crossed.
The wings have come out quite good though, theres no lines or streaks but need to be 'Wet and dryed' abit as they're quite rough.
Still, up to date..Im quite chuffed with myself.

Update...Finally.
Been busy with starting the VT transformation.

Rear bumper on.

Side Tiger sealed on, and supported with In-penetrable tape.

Strategically placing the door trim on..

Oh smoooth..

Quite pleased so far

Lfs rear trim on.

Sneaky bit of SaxP sticker there.

That exhaust void will soon be filled with something, No idea what yet but still..yeah

thats Ricky, Big thanks to him for lending me his angle grinder.

Had to let him have a play with the Chalk for his help.

Ricky's Polo, and Hehirzy's Golf

Dave and Ricky, at-least they were entertained while I slaved away with the Tiger seal.

Found some Metallic green paint with glitter/sparkly stuff in..so had a play..Actually looks pretty good in the sunlight.

Lol, went to Pets and Home and saw this little dude chilling. I lolled.
Thats it for now, Will have the rest on at the weekend, im away until then
Thanks, Ed.

Cheers mate, Appreciate that alot
Ahh , i've been thinking about doing something with that Green paint.. not sure though, Roof and wheel lips maybe :s
Definitely doing a Two tone theme though. Still undecided on the colour, Something bright and different is a must though, Ideally I wanted to do it Orange..but that would just be copying MunkyBoy's which is against all laws.
Hmm, Decisions..

Right, Got myself a couple of days of this week so gonna get on with the rest of the Kit, My front bumper should be here tomorrow along with new plugs, filters, Oil, Discs, tow strap etc.
Next thing on the list is Calipers so it'll be mobile again
Having thoughts about lowering it, But ideally would like to do a 4 stud conversion with Vtr/s struts and the rear beam and brakes. With replacing the complete front struts...Im guessing im going to need Vtr/s complete drive shafts to as the bearings are different i believe?
I did a quick search, but couldn't really find anything that could help..May not have looked hard enough Haha.
If any one could help me on this, i'd be really grateful
More pics will be up during the week.
Thanks, Ed.

Aww! Thats so sweet
Your seriously going to need to lower it, when I put my kit on my flattie - It made it stupidly high because of grinding the rear arches! I didn't think it looked horrendous, till I looked back!
I love that green paint, deffo need to get that in somewhere!
Its coming along really well.

Yeah, Don't worry..Its getting lowered no matter what
Just wanted to do the 4 stud conversion, so I'd had a larger choice in wheels I could put on it..at the moment the only ones I can find and that I like are the Compomotive Mo's, but cost twice as much as the car Haha.
Some bits arrived today while I was out, Mainly servicing parts and a TRS Tow strap
Still deciding on colour combinations, I wouldn't mind Black & green tbh, But ahh well..Can always change the colour

I have that exact tow strap
I love the look of them out of the front 4 Stud conversion, and standard R wheels are the best mix! Then colourrrr code. Wheels would look amazing in that flakey green

Yeah, Im still thinking whether to use that green, or a lime green shade.
Was hoping to get the front arches on today aswell, but a Cinema trip was far more appealing than working in these freezing temperatures! Still, ive got tomorrow and thursday to hopefully get it all done..if the bumper arrives that is anyway

Cheers man, Thanks alot.. Im hoping to have it all pretty much done by the end of december, but want the rest of the VT kit and for it to be painted within the next week or so before the weather really turns as its already started snowing at my work which is only 7 miles away Haha
But yeah, hoping to have the 4 stud conversion and a Vtr/vts rear beam on the back by mid december.
I'll keep you all posted
