The polished alu cam covers on my car (get protected with Poorboys wheel sealant) are oxidised/ stained after a week's worth of driving during the winter. No chance would I drive round with wheels that have a similar finish.

That sealant imo isnt suitable for the job though Liam.

Its a special sealant for bare metal surfaces.

Lol,I can't see VTR wheels fitting a Z3.

As for winter wheels, I can't really as the car is lowered to suit those wheels,so the coilovers would need adjusting which knowing me I would balls up.

Also I have nowhere to store an extra set of wheels,so if there is a large risk of them being damaged I just wouldn't buy the car.

They aren't, but water comes through the front grill and etches them when it dries.

The only thing I can think liam is the temperature the cam covers reach has affected the sealant. I hope anyway.
