Default BE4 Conversion. Clutch cable

Hey all,

I'm currently converting a 106 Turbo to a BE4 gearbox.
We machined the hubs nicely.. Made our own driveshafts, own mount, even found a new place for the steering pump.
So everything is kinda working out well.. Except for the clutch cable.
We have been trying to find a cable that (kinda) works and modify it to our needs. Most of what we read is that a particular berlingo cable will do the trick after some modding. But i cant find the right one.

Any one got some more info on what cable? Even a peugeot number, or the exact type of car its in?

Any help would be appreciated

thanx

Michel

i'd get in contact with ATSpeed as they get one custom made up with metal ends which should last.

The ones people usually use are from a Peugeot Van i think

hi,

unfortunately you require more than "just" a cable for it to work correctly, hence why we will not sell a cable on its own... we will sell everything you need to make it work though, including cable and all the custom parts required.

many people have asked us, so its clearly something people struggle to sort correctly, it is the most complicated part of the conversion. we spent a long time making this right.

our set up works with stock single plate and easily adapts for twin plate clutches. it also works with hydraulic set ups - so its pretty universal in its application.

All BE components found here:

http://atspeedracing.co.uk/products/...ex&cPath=27_30
also worth noting: you get more than whats listed and pictured!

please note: revised version of the BE kit is soon available, featuring revised gear change package - laser cut stainless steel linkage mounts, custom anodised alloy adjustable gear linkages (wont pop off!). we are also looking at re-designing the gear selector arm so it is universal fit across both types of BE boxes. price will remain the same.

we now offer 3 driveshaft options to suit different budgets and applications.

best regards,

- colin.
