Football Manager 2011 wont run! - Saxperience

Tryin to run football manager on windows xp, not the best but it is compatible, i put the disc in the drive and nothing happens, the computer doesnt even recognise it in the drive what could this be??

Check the disc for scuffs/irregularitys/scratches.

Try a diff disc in the drive (could be dvd/cd drive)

Try and see if you can use the code and download game through steam.
