Exclamation Digital Camera - Recommendations!

Have a budget of about £130ish - looking for the best compact digital in this price range. Any ideas on what I should be looking for spec wise.

Been looking at the following:
http://www.comet.co.uk/p/Digital-Cam...-Camera/619981

As my dad owns a Canon IXUS which seems quite good for what it is.

Thanks in advance
JAM

Hi JAM,

Having checks the specs of this particular camera, it is ultra slim in terms of its design and is an incredible 1.8 cm! It therefore falls perfectly into the compact range of digital cameras.

In addition to this the 28mm wide-angle lens, 4X optical zoom, Smart Auto and HD movies make it easy to take stunning shots or movies wherever you are. As your dad also owns a similar model, you may also be familiar with the navigation of the menus.

Whilst other models are available within this price range, they are generally more bulky and do not feature the same optical zoom or mega-pixels

Hope this helps with your purchase!

Thanks

Matt from Comet

Argos is cheaper http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/st...ANON+IXUS+130S p.s. Megapixels don't mean anything these days unless you're printing A3+ photos lol

Signing up to internet forums is hardly an example of overstaffing. Alot of companies have their websites set up to see where hotlinking is coming from and have people to follow things up. Much as the same as when a company finds information slagging them off.

I notice you only mention megapixels as shit advise and not the fact that the optical zoom and size was mentioned?

I didn't read his full post (pregnant = brain turns to mush), just saw the username and saw the megapixel bit. The overstaffed bit, there's always a good crowd of staff stood around doing fuck all ready to pounce on you as soon as you walk through the door in my local comet, now they're pouncing on people on ze interwebz lol
