Finally got some Compomotive Mo5's.
Found a set for £80 about 20 miles away. The guys delivering them tomorrow so will get some pictures up and whatnot then after work.
Pretty sure they've got naff tyres on, and one is said to be low on tread anyway.
So going down to a new tyre place in Macclesfield, they've got proxes in at £75 per pair.

Ed.

Ended up picking my wheels up instead due to work..
Still..only 15 miles away, and Bought/collected some Coilovers from Boony on the same day too
Won't be putting the coilovers on for a while yet though, waiting until i've sorted everything else and sourced a Vts or 106 Gti rear beam.

**My car is on Axle stands here...Its not several foot from the road when the wheels are on the ground**

They do need a good clean up, and one is in desperate need for a refurb..So I'll be doing that in time and replacing the centre caps as the current ones are faded.
Can't complain for £80 though..Got a mega deal on them, and the tyres aren't all that bad either, bar one which is on the limit. But I'll be changing them for a set of Proxes once they're refurbed.
Coilovers..
again, these were £80. Not a bad purchase Imo. Should do me for abit anyway
Bit of a crap Picture of my Roller Cab I bought last week too.
Bit of a bummer..

Started replacing my calipers yesterday, was in abit of a rush before I went to collect my wheels and coilivers, put the Torx bit in, but not all the way( My bad), Snapped it in the bolt...(Nice one). Put me on a downer, but still..I'm soldiering on..slowly Lol.

Cheers man, Yeah I'll report back on what they're like when i've fitted them.
No idea when that'll be though, a few months away i'm guessing. Possible after I come back from Glastonbury, as I'll have spare cash for a rear beam/engine & loom etc.
Haven't had a decent look at them yet, nor the wheels. Next chance I'll get at going over them will probably be next tuesday on my day off.

Cheers man, Its a rather slow and painful project..But I'll get there in the end
Just need to change these Discs and calipers over, then its pretty much sorted..Mechanically wise anyway, apart from the wipers..which I still haven't sussed out why they're not working.
Gonna crack on with the brakes and Fitting the harness's properly on tuesday, then try and finish painting it if I get chance.
Thats about it for now
Will update shortly
Ed.

Got bored this morning, so Decided to spray the now redundant steelies.
They're a bit rough, But t'was my first attempt at actually spraying wheels..ever.
Excuse the marks on the black parts, its just Tape residue/sticky stuff..

Originally wanted them Black and orange.. But the Orange spray paint I got, is absolutely wank. Just splatters, no matter what. So used the green paint I had from a while back.
I'll redo them when I get bored, in orange.

Been a While, no Pictures or anything..
It's as it was pretty much before.
Just updating the situation.
- Sourced a VTS Engine,Gearbox, loom & Ecu.
I'll be collecting it in a Couple of weeks
- Finally managed to get some Bumper mounts for that 'effing VT bumper.
- Picked up a Pair of Toyo T1R's today, £75 for the pair. I'll be putting them on, aswell as the others I bought a bit ago once I've refurbed the Compomotives in a couple of weeks while I'm off college.
- I've thought of the Ingenious idea of using "Guitar Straps" for my Door pulls aswell, due to me cutting away the inner door and having no interior handle.. So I Bought an Orange one earlier, I'll have a play with that and get it sorted
-Booking my Ferry soon, Destined for the Nurburgring via France in August with the Saxo, Hopefully with the Vts engine in place.
I'll post up pictures of Odd bits I've gathered for the Build. As you can guess.. It's destined for the track now. I'll be getting a Multi-point cage in around June/july. As I'm going to Glastonbury, so Funds are needed for that-rather than the Cage.
Ed.

The compo's were more of an Impulse buy tbh.. And they were a pretty decent price, so can sell them on with minimal hassle.
I'm debating whether to use the VTS/GTI beam though..
If I can get away with using a Decent brake setup on the front, Like 'Mikol's 106, then I'll stay with 3 studs.
I need to see which is the more viable option tbh, as I rarely get chance to work on it due to College & work.

Too right you do you Dick.
Yeah March, hopefully... They should still be the same price then anyway.
If they're not, your dead.

Pretty pleased with them so far, pretty much 1st thing I've sprayed properly
Pretty much done with the Pink one now aswell, Few pics.
Excuse the picture quality, they don't do the wheels justice.
** Wheel is gay, gay is wheel.**
Redoing it in White.. Looks to gay. Don't hate me.
