Very nice so just to clarify something then how does that workout with the insurance groups then?Is it insured as a vts or a 1.4? because if its insured as a vts then why not drop a vts engine into it.

Steve.

Sweet glad thats sorted now ... i had a debate with the previous owner as i was sure there wasnt such thing as a 1.4 vts.. which led me to believe it was a furio with vts goodies ( a rep ) but shown me the log book and soon shut me up aha

Hi Danny,

I used to own the car (had it from march 2009 to august 2010) check out my old progress thread, its in my signature box below

Background info for you:
Its a 1.4 vts (import from ireland)
I had the rear axle changed in march 2010 as it was knackered
Head gasket was done at 95k if I remember right? Sticker should still be on the engine.
I sprayed the wheels myself hence why they aint 100 percent good. Just check my old progress thread as I spent a lot of time modding and keeping this car clean.
I have some photoshoot photos on that thread too.

If you want any more info about work done drop me a pm kept all the reciepts it had 3 services whilst I owned it

Paul

Thanks for that paul greatly appreciated!.. the sticker is still on the engine which pushed me to buy it also its done 106,000 now wheels are getting sorted once its insured having a spot of bothered as there telling me its the 1.6 vts on there system so ive had had to take a picture of the v5 and send it too them.. did you have any of this bother? im with swintons just awaiting a phone call back...
ive got quite a few receipts but not a great load previous owner did say hes got them and will send them once he's found them..
apprently just moved?..
my plans are too keep it immactulate as it is and well serviced and maintained.. and get the wheels done properly..
m.o.t is due march so want to give it a good service and fine comb through to ensure everything is as it should be...
with out being a pain can you remember when it was last serviced?
the previous owner reckons it was done recently but ive gone out brought a oil filter just need to pop to auto factors to get oil and plugs ectect..
also if you can remember what oil has it been run on?
sorry to be a pain just want to keep it in good nick many thanks Danny.
