The back looks lower than the front, shouldn't it be level for handling?

Looks nice though, love vag turbo engines.

it is level mate, the front end lifts up really easily when you put your foot down, if you look at it on a flat its sound

Absolutely love this mate, still considering buying one of these for my next car come October time after 2 years no claims (touch wood), tossing and turning between one of these and;

Clio 182
Fiesta ST

cheers man yeah i was looking at the ST too, never really been a fan of the clio, when people ask you what car you drive and you say "a clio" the image people first get is a shitty 1.2 sport or something, in the end i settled for vag, plus i've always wanted something with a turbo

I'm 20, but going to be 21 in a couple of weeks time. Only just got my second year of no claims today though... so i think that's holding me back. On my home postcode my bora would be 2300 to insure!
It's under a grand at my uni address though.

I've never crashed or anything, but i didn't know that if i cancelled a policy after 10 months i'd loose that from my no claims. I've actually been driving for nearly four years with the same insurance company... but through me scrapping cars and going on holiday, i've only managed to get two years on continuous policy

Oh well.. at least i'll save me pennies on fuel. Saying that i put 75 quid of diesel in it today... and it wasn't even full

Only the 1.9 tdi. like.. 110bhp

It's all down to post code, put in a different postcode and that price halves. Just need to get the money together for the deposit on a new policy now!

then this happened...

i lost drive to all 6 gears, each time i put the clutch in the car would made a very loud knocking noise, i could pull the clutch out in any gear and the engine would also continue to idle fine, i originally thought i'd fucked my clutch, but it could also be my driveshafts or diff - anyway i was towed off the track...

heres my score paper showing my 'run aborted'

i was then towed again, out of santa pod up to the main gate to be recovered by the AA

and after waiting for 2 hours for the AA a van finally arrived

and the driver said he couldn't tow me, and gave me this

"vehicle to low to vrs" - which meant i had to wait for another three hours for a flatbed

i finally got home at 9:40, having broken down on the strip at 2:30

Adam Kelly (a lad from cupranet) came over and we had the wheel off, the driveshaft on the drivers side is completly fucked, this is what fell out when we removed it

i'm looking at ordering a replacement tomorrow, i was lucky that the diff, clutch and box are all fine

also someone came across this from modifiedcars.com
