as for the fronts Im gonna take out the runners from a couple of front seats from a saxo up the scrappy then just get then welded on! And hey presto full set of recaros which will look amazing :-D
one of the seats needs to be reupholstered but ill get that done when i get the time, I'll probably drive about without a passengers seat till its done ha!

LOL sounds good! i need a new rocker cover so if you see one at silverlake get me it, ill pay you back! having no passenger seat should save you a bit of weight (and fuel) think you should get a show cage instead of the rear bench though

i'll have a look but i dunno when im next gonna go up silverlake mate tbh i dont think i'd bother with a cage unless im gonna track slag the car as i think a show cage will just add un needed weight and all be it will look smart i wanna spend my money getting the car mint
wheels, scratch, reupholster that seat then i think by then my car will need a good service and then i'll decide what to do next but im thinking cam's, throttle bodies then remap ^.^

well i have some good news...the sub is gone! As have the rear seats and carpets
gonna go down a slightly different route now from the other seats as i couldn't justify putting such heavy beasts in a car which is meant to be light.

Small Update
Decided to scrap the audi recaros and im gonna go put my car on a bit of a diet
So Far
- Stripped out the rear seats
- Taken out the sub
Its not a lot but its a start
To Do
- Front buckets
- Driver and passenger side 3 point harness (in lellow)
- Sort out scratch
- Get the alloys touched up
- Catcam 708's
- Re-map
I was thinking about getting some itb's but its just money I dont think I could justify spending when I'm gonna buy something with a bit more ooomph when insurance isnt stupidly high!
Watch this space

Update
So I got a bit bored sat around doing nothing and decided to see how easy it is to dewiper a saxo.
It looked easy in some of the guides so I decided to give it a go myself and I got very impatient with the rear nut so out came the hacksaw
I think it looks load better and just makes the back end look that bit let busy
I've also stripped out the back and removed the sound proofing and now it sounds so good inside the car
I've put the carpet back in but I've managed to loose 3 of the little rubber things which hold the carpet down over the soundproofing so a little trip up the scrapyard maybe on the agenda soon
I might also have a look at getting a show cage because tbh the back with no seats just seems a bit empty...
having buckets and harness's doesnt bother me as I think the standard seats arent too bad.

I got them dirt cheap off of a mate but i decided not to fit them in the end as there bloody heavy and i wanted to strip my car
a full set on ebay, providing you can find them is 350-500 quid depending on the nick.
To be honest i wouldn't bother in getting some for a saxo as the rear bench would be a pig to fit and you might aswell get some 106 Gti leathers for like half the price.
