Default Bridge or compact system camera?

What is the difference lol and what would suit me best?

I just want it for good pics of the car, family and friends, sport and views.

The only thing that puts me off the system cameras is having to have different lenses.

Dont know any difference apart from that lol

seen a nice nikon bridge camera, 24x zoom, 14megapixles, 6200 iso £250

any help would be great

cheers

Depending on the amount you wanted to spend on a camera and how interested you are in taking photos i would recommend maybe either a Sony HX100 this is a fantastic camera for its money and it has everything you need to get started,

but if you are more interested but dont really want to carry loads of kit around i would go for a sony Nex 5 - there is a newer nex out i think the sony nex 5n

sony nex 5 is a mini slr camera so you have fantastic quality as well as compact size,
but they do has interchangable lens

it all depends on what type of stuff your looking for in a camera and the uses

micro four thirds slr which i would recomend
sony nex-5
olympus epl2
panasonic gf3

bridge cameras
sony hx100
canon sx30

Compact cameras
sony hx9v
Samsung WB550

if i was you i would go for
either sony nex or panasonic gf3

they look amazing and have amazing spec
but if you want a camera with alot of zoom then go for the sony hx100

hope this helps

(four thirds) system camera
it will give you alot more potential and will let you take brilliant photos and wont disapoint and they look the dogs .......
then if you start to get into photography then you can buy a few more lenses for the camera

if you have a look around before you buy
on youtube, flickr, photographyblog, dpreview and compare them for yourself.

but i would recomend either a sony nex or a panasonic gf3/gf2 you wont go wrong with those
