Default My Saxo

Hello Ive got a 1999 MK1 1.1 persian red saxo

Ive been reading a few threads so i decided to start one of my own

I got my car back in september and it look like a dog (the previous owner had a VT kit fitted but they had sprayed over the bump strips and didnt prep them properly) It had steel wheels, red racing seat covers, seat belt pads, lexus rear lights, ministry of sound 6x9's and it was full of fag buts

First thing i done was clean it out and take out the chavy crap and put jewel lights in there

I had a set of ripspeed alloys from my old fiesta which i swapped for the wheels on my saxo now.

I took the 6x9's out and had to put some other ones in that werent so blue and ugly.

I found and exhaust system on ebay from a VTR which I won for £10.50 so i got that and cut and welded it on. The interior was doing my head in so i looked and looked and eventually i found someone who was breaking a 106 GTI and they only wanted £60 for the leathers We picked those up from St Austells and they were soaked so a couple of days in my dads van done that trick!

Ive been doing smaller thing to it since like getting LED side lights and ice white main beams, changed the horrible yellow gear knob to a nice leather one. 2X JBL 12" subs, 1300 Watt Vibe monoblock amp, Sony components up the front. Painting the bumpstrips gloss black

Then came all the problems like coilpack going and it was missing, fully serviced it only to find it kept on pressurising and the head gasket was gone so it was straight into the back of my dads work to be fixed

I will get some photos up soon

Comments welcome!

(sorry about any spelling mistakes I'm using my iPhone)

There you go ya see, someone who knows how to style a car! Very impressed with the de chavving mate. That's one well rescued mk1. That colour is rather nice too. Good job, keep it up.
