Not so much an update but need a little help.

firstly gave the car a good clean on the weekend

basically cars been playing right up recently by misfiring and engine management light coming on. had the ecu read and the faults were. (along these lines misplaced the sheet now)

1. coolant temp sensor - intermitent
2. ignition coil 2 - intermitent
3. ignition coil 3 no spark - intermitent
4. injector 1 short circuit to + - intermitent
5. injector 2 short circuit to earth - intermitent
6. injector 4 short circuit to + - permanent

ive replaced coilpack and plugs on saturday(2nd time in 4 months) and no luck.

now it only happens when its hot like after ive been driving it for 15 mins say. so my next guess would be temp sensor before injectors as its also the cheapest.

However im worried it could be the ecu itself as it coming up with all the short circuits etc and i dont really know what all that means so just wanted some advice.

so tell me what you think please guys really desperate, this car making me want to burn it out at the moment!!

Is the car running a 3 plug or single plug ecu? I'm guessing its a 3 plug based on the egr valve? I know of one you can use to test and see if that is the problem. Won't be able to get the ecu until the weekend though.

Pm me mate

I can't believe you want to swap these wheels, these wheels have history and are what makes the car!

Update! not a good one in my eyes either!
Pro race 3's off.. S wheels on. But they dont look too bad and i quite like the standard look.

Also cars still giving me lots of grief engine wise.
Ive now replaced coilpack, plugs, coolant temp sensor, fuel filter, cleaned all sensors and checked any wiring i could see all to no avail. Still missing like hell!

My mechanic should be taking a look saturday and hopefully got an ecu to test against mine next week thanks to very kind member off here (simon). Hope its sorted soon!
