Default Steam Clean instead of claying

Currently watching this x5 Mop steam cleaner on the tele, well i dont want to watch it but cant find the remote. It says "Removes tar and contaminents" so im thinking instead of claying your car could you steam clean it instead ?

am not sure that would work and if it would it would probs take twice as long as claying to warm it up enough to remove it. if ya want the lazy mans option use tardis
