Do a search mate, been covered many times, basically it tricks your ECU into thinking there is a change in air temp, so it alters the fuel ratios etc to give a slight power increase. 15bhp is complete bullshit and it is likely to fuck your engine right up. The biggest scam on ebay. If Manufacturers could get a 15bhp increase for that sort of money every car would be fitted with one.

I thought it was basicly a cheaper super chip?(eventho there wank too!) it doesnt look like one of them daft 10p resistors so was looking for a temp solution untill i can afford the real thing like dastekl! use may have saved me an engine....was so close to buying 1,so thanks!
will just have to save for the real thing now but expensive stuff!

thsi isnt the resisitors that you are thinking of.
itn is the same as a superchip. you need to take your ecu apart to fit it.
i wouldnt personally fit it to my car though.

these arnt bad its the fitting and reprogramming what costs money not the chip you will be looking at £30-40 to get this fitted then you will have to get all your immobiliser code and everything transfered to the chip costing u a hours labour at citreon or any other chip tuning place wich could be around 60-80 then the cost of the chip you looking at around £200 for this to be completed and installed into you ecu thats what costs the money, the chips cost pennies 99p for a eprom chip or something silly its the programming the guy is charging for and yes this why superchip charge £400 plus cause theres alot of work to be done to get it working in your car.

I see now i was wrong, thought it was a classic ebay chip but it seems theyre evolving. I still owuldnt trust a chip that calls a saxo a Coupe though...

you dont need to get your immob programmed to match.
you unsolder your original frimware chip, solder a socket in and then fit the chip.
superchips are downloaded via the diagnostics port (on saxo's) so there is no labour time, they are just a pure rip-off.
