Ashley backbox
So ages ago i got an ashley competition backbox 4" sounds great, looks good.. However tried fitting it and ended up burning the back bumper and generally looking bad.. So I took it too the local garage, who claimed they brought a new bracket for it and heated up the hangers to move it to a better position.. So now the backbox is not burning the bumper.. However im still not happy the backbox still points out at a ridiculous angle, points upwards and is to high up in the bumper recess.. Is this the garage doing a shabby job or is this how they all are? Cheers.. Also if i do need a replacement what would you recommend? (Nothing from kamracing though, as the prices are insane)

It's probably because of it's humongous tip that makes it look odd. I've never seen a 4" exit look right on a Saxo. Far too big.
Have a look at the 2-3" Pugsport/Saxport ones

Yeah the exhaust doesn't look right hence why i posted... But what is wrong with the car? No other mods apart from angel eyes and a hid kit, the rest is standard so i dont understand the 'your car though'

He means 'your car, your choice". Doesn't look too badly fitted.
As above its probably just because of the size.

I sell exhaust systems that fit. Cheap exhaust systems are always hassle so I avoid them.
There is some scope to adjust the backbox, even with different rubbers as well as bending the hangers themselves but if thats the best the garage can get it then you will probably need to trim your bumper.

The point being is that it's your car at the end of the day so do as you see fit with it.the remark i made concerned the exhaust and nothing else.
