Join the ‘106 and Saxo parts for sale’ facebook group. There are always cheap buckets for sale on there. Usually those China made bright blue/red ones with fake-leather bolsters. Shit quality but you’ll pick up a set with frames for sub-£60.

I'm not sure how much i would trust them though?
Thought about it before and someone raised the point that the seat and mounts are all that would stop you flying out the windscreen if the worst should happen... put me off ever since, but then there are probably some *just* sub par seats available, i suppose it's only material and fabric?

Just the point that was made about risking your shit for the sake of a few hundred quid shook me up!

I don’t think they’re dangerous, or at least I hope not. They’re just very cheaply made. Cheap materials, poor quality stitching etc. Out of all sets I’ve seen the ‘leather’ is always faded and ill fitting to the bolsters. They’re Chinese tat basically, but if they’re just for throwing your car around the track then it doesn’t matter too much about the material quality. You could run them for a while until you have the spare cash to get a decent set of OMP or Sparco seats, then upgrade. Although saying that, I don’t find the standard Saxo VT seats too bad in the first place.

Agree with you completely there - vt seats top notch for the driver, not so much for passengers. The mrs is like 5'3 and gets thrown round like a ragdoll!
