That was actually a lot faster than some people realise - I reckon it was at about 100 in 8/9 secs!

i have pics of a Westy just like that one, with a 2.0L turbocharged Zetec engine hiding under the bonnet!

i think it can do 0-100 quicker than you think my uncles elise is doing 0-60 in a tad under 4secs.
dont get me wrong they are fast but it nothing special it actualy quite common
a bloke on ssc is building a civic type r engined saxo rwd

i know its been done and those pics and stuff were on ssc too. on ssc though the bloke is doing a biuld progres thread to go with it just thought people might like to take alook. its quite hard to come up with something new and unique as people have tried so much now days

you would have to be insane to get in a jet engined car of any sort.
would be ultra hard work getting a cossie lump into a saxo would need the whole front end extending. good on someone that could do it though

why would it need the front end doing?? throw it in the back, same as the way the Civic and bike engines have been!

i still think it would be far too much for the rear of a saxo acosworth lump is massive in comparison to a bike or ctr engine. plus it supposed to lay in a different direction to a normal engine. (transverse) i think it is

it sits sideways in the engine bay, but it could work, and i know a company that would attempt it too!
