gmc 4-1 would be best but if you want a 4-2-1 then supersprint

depends what you want.
4-1 will give increase the torque right at the top of the rev, little less lower down.
4-2-1 is a good comprise between standard and 4-1.

depends how you drive and what its for, if its an everyday car not a track car, then go for the 4-2-1, its not like you drive at 5k revs through your local village, so you will feel the benifit a lot more
although if its a track car go for the 4-1 mate

I got a pro tech 4-2-1 on my vtr £175 on ebay here is how i see it you are already starting with your torque low down on a vtr and your never really going to make it into a car with high end torque like the vts has so why not work with the tools you have been givin and work on acceleration as apose to going for a 4-1 manifold and increase your power higher up the rev range by the time you get to this hi end revs you are losing most of you power curve anyway as you only have 8 valves, the power on my mk1 vtr comes really low in the revs its around 2500rpm and starts to fade around 6-6500rpm, i would work on this mate.

stiffler -you are presuming he is going to keep std cam --,and power is over the top on std vtr by 5500k.
you want to make it pull to the limiter at sensible money ,this is ALL you can do without spending at least twice the money
270 cam ,skim head ,4-1 ,enclosed air filter ,
any more than that and it will run like a bag of crap on idle ,should give you about same as std vts,if done correctly
