I would yes, it wont be availabe for a few weeks yet at least, ive got some work i want to do on the new engine before it goes in. Il pm people interested once ive sorted it out.
Talking of the new engine...
Poor image i know, i took it just now in the garage on my phone.
Piced it up earlier today. It looks a bit grubby on the outside but everything mechanically looks sound. Its got all new cambelt, tensioners and water pump too.
Gonna start working on it this week, im going to take it apart and give it all a good clean and lick of paint, and change the head gasket and cambelt whilst its out of the car. I also want an exhaust manifold for it before it goes in.

Thanks
Today I ordered a head gasket set, timing belt and aux belt today ready for the weekend
I still need to get exhaust manifold nuts and studs, various new bolts to replace corroded ones, oil and oil filter and some kind of engine paint (and a manifold if i have any money left by this point)

I finished a bit early today so i spent an hour starting to strip the engine.
I removed all the exhaust manifold studs in the head too ready for a fresh set. I also need new cam cover bolts, they are a bit rusty. I need to find somewhere to get some nice fancy stainless ones
The plan is to finish stripping the engine on saturday. I need to reseal the sump as its a bit leaky and im going to do what i can on the head at home before taking it to work for new stem seals and lapping in valves.
Also going to borrow a wire wheel from work to attack the head and block and generally give it a good clean up. Im thinking gunmetal cam covers to match me wheels.

Looks like you have your work cut out.
If you PM AlexR, he will tell you what size bolts you need for the rocker/ coil pack covers... pretty sure they are M8's. Can get uber shiny ones from here - check page 5 of the catalogue.

I already got the chrome plated bolts and a selection of stainless nuts and washers, it turns out my boss has a tray of them in loads of different sizes and lengths. I asked him today where i could get some and he said i can use some of his ones

Ah I see - nice one.
What manifold you thinking of adding mate? Toying with the idea of a Raceland myself - I'm thinking you can't really go wrong for what they cost.

Yeah i think raceland might be the one to go for. The build quality might not be on par with the more expensive ones but its a proven manifold and its a bargian tbh for stainless.
Im sure a few people on here are running big power saxos with the raceland manifold and with no issues to report.

Got a bit more work done on the engine this weekend, just stripping it down and cleaning it up.
Removed the cylinder head
And cleaned up the block
Ive done nothing on the head yet except paint the 16v on the inlet manifold.
And painted the oil filler cap to match.
And finally Gunmetal cam covers
Going to take the head into work next weekend to rebuild it and maybe start building the engine back up depending on how much time i have. This week i need to order exhaust manifold nuts and studs, a manifold and a thermostat then i believe i have everything i need ready to go.
Its slow progress but progress all the same

Bit of an update,
I reassembled the engine a week or so ago with all new parts. Also got hold of a raceland manifold for it
Spent most of today fitting the thing, its not running yet but ive only got a few bits to sort out. I need to run the return fuel lines that i got scammed 60 quid from citroen for, make a few adjustments to my home made throttle cable and sort out a few multiplugs that dont seem to match up to anything.
Other than that all is well
This is how its looking at the moment
Should all be up and running tomorrow *crosses fingers*
