It was a fucking nightmare i stuck it down with adhesive but because of the heat it kinda started shrinking and peeling I've had it painted wicked red now

Least you tried but. Leather is just one of those materials that cant stand heat at all.

Not doing anything else to the saxo mate, getting rid very soon and going for a 106 gti if i can find one thats not high mileage, if not will be the vts but hopefully the gti.
Ye will more than likely be in touch with him when i get the new car, im sure i will want some engine covers and interior plastics spraying, and no doubt he does i better job than me lol.
Good work mate, will be keeping an eye on your progress

Yea i know, when i was doing my cam seals i broke the cover, but going to get one off Mark.
Not been using the car since it got broken into so progress has been slow!
Fitted some new dials on the car so my rev meter works properly now
Not fitted any of the engine bay parts yet, just lazyness
Sold the bucket seats, so i could free up some cash for the new doors ive had to purchase. Hopefully they will be here on Monday. Pretty pissed i had to replace these, was getting big quotes to de-lock them so was happy when i found some in black for £60.
Just going to have to take the pins out so people dont bend doors back and get in that way and then dynamat them again which isnt a cheap process!
Going to get my clifford alarm fitted too by end of next week fingers crossed
Then i can go and buy another headunit and sub, ill get the same headunit but subwoofer wise im looking for a JL W6, but i will have to see what is around at the time, as im not going to spend stupid money on the car
All in all this has put the cams and remapping back even further which im gutted about but such is life.
Also anyone know anywhere who make custom boxes for subwoofers? As im too lazy to make my own

Well a few more little updates
FIrst off here are some pics of what the twats did to my car
Then i was thinking about the winter weather coming and tyres, so as i was thinking about fitting the two new Yoko rubbers i had got, so went online to see if i could find another two tyres to match so i could have all four
But in the end i bought 5 of theses babies
Uniroyal rainsport 2's
Heard alot about these being very good in the rain and more than suitable for dry weather, so im hoping they will prove worth while
Later on today i should have my new doors fitted, and then next monday my car is booked in for its Clifford 650 alarm fitting

Todays update
I have had the uniroyals fitted and they seem pretty good tyres at the moment, just letting them rubber in before i give them a little push. Hopefully they will prove well in the up and coming poor weather were about to have.
Today i just had my Clifford alarm fitted, which will hopefully be more of a deterrent to idiots that like to break into car
Hopefully this weekend i can tidy up some bits and will get the sound deadening and door cards back in along with my tinted windows and wind deflectors then i can go out and spend some pennys on some car audio again. Another head unit and subwoofer for xmas i think

Sorry slow reply bud, i absolutely love the tyres!
I have not tried the toyo's so can not compare directly. But I feel very assured with the tyres. I have not stupidly pushed them, but on the odd bend they hold well and in the rain I feel confident in them. Great winter tyre so far. Didnt do too bad in the snow eitha
As for the bay, I like it but I just have not left the parts in yet as I aint really driven the car much this year! Bet ive done less than 3k miles last year. Still need to find a rocker cover badge thou!

Also another present ive treated myself too is
A new headunit. Gone for the Pioneer avic 1xr. Went for this because i loved the headunit i had before and i still had all my iphone and dab units to plug into this plus i get the added feature of having sat nav built in too
To go with this ive spent some money on some more sound deadening for the new doors. More dynamat
Ive upgraded the rca and speaker cables for the audio too.
Then lastly ive ordered a new subwoofer since my last one was taken too
Kappa infinity perfect subwoofer
Hopefully much more to come over the next few weeks. Got a couple of little tidy up jobs to do too.

Well this weeks updates
No cams No headunit! What a shitty week
Cams - somewhere with Royal mail......? Lad says he has sent them, but didnt send it recorded. So he has not long till I talk to paypal
As for the headunit. Nearly same. Guy on ebay sold it me, not heard a word since and now i have opened up a case on paypal to claim that money back
I have now ordered another one online, and spoken to the seller. Hopefully Wed morning it should be with me. Fingers crossed
Other than that very little. Been looking into getting some angel headlights, just gotta wait for a pair to come up
Bought some aero wiperblades as mine are shot now
Hopefully this week or in next few id like to get a few little electrical things sorted out on the car. Id like to get smart windows working for my clifford alarm and then wire up one of the outputs to bring on the side lights on the car. No real reason why i want this other than just a silly boys toy
Anyone got any pics of black Saxo's with black pro race alloys on?
Been looking at these of late but not fully sure.
I also think the next big purchase is gonna be some big 4 pot brakes. Just some better stopping power

Todays update
After purchasing some cams..... then them becoming lost somewhere in the UK.... Ive no clue (Looks like a job for paypal)
I managed to source another set of cams... Some more Piper 285's off of 106oc. Turned up snappily so I decided to get them fitted
Couple of pics before I left the car to have it fully done
Picked up the car and the car doesnt idle really badly but its still tricky, really lumpy so you can feel the car bobbling about and sounding like a slightly out V8 monster!
I booked the car in for a remap @ 'SharkPerformance' which is in Mansfield, for a live remap, and saving me some money on ChipWizards (Not that I do not like the place) but I just dont wish to spend £500+ mapping my standard ecu, when I would like a 3plug Pred when they are done in next few months.
Also received my new aero wipers the other day too after my current ones being shot!

The other day when I was trying to clean up the bay abit and noticed some dreaded rust too
Hopefully may get that sorted this week before it goes through and becomes a pain too!
Got the doorcards back on too now, but no more audio dynamat just yet.
Head unit is in and ive ordered some bits for that, maybe even get all the amps wired up this weekend too along with a nice clean
