Thanks Wayne, hopefully get the ma box out this weekend then be box and shafts in a week or so, waiting for a clutch cable to turn up and hoping the helix clutch I have in there now will be in good condition to put back in

going for a satchshifter with this then?
after doing cadwell in the vtr monday, i defo wont a diff, when here people on here saying how much differance they make, didt realise how much it would make till drove cadwell defo on my list just unsure what box to go for hmm

yep.... satchshift also on the list to order with new suspension bits, bit of a ball ache to fit? easier with box removed id imagine

i have always fitted them engine out and its 10mins job tops, we use the plasma cutter rather then hole saw lot easyer/quicker to.
but i fited the vtr with one engine in, but if tb is off and gearbox is off will be walk in park.
i have to say though, i drove loads saxos round at work etc all time, most with some kinda quick shift, and nothing and i mean nothing comes close to satchshifter
