Cheers mate, let's just hope it pays off...
And I've got a 1.4 Xsi Box fitted which I haven't really mentioned I don't think but it's recently been refurbed and running smoothly

Thank you guys! I'm hoping at any point between the start of October and November massive changes will be made
May try and fit the cam beforehand but i'm not sure yet all depends on whether I source a second head or not....

Received my Vibra Technics mounts today, I opted for the fast road kid as I'm sure these will be more than sufficient
Oh and also some Blue LED's as I'm boored and fancy doing some soldering on the dials
Oh and happy birthday to me

Some quality gear there. I would have gone for a wilder cam personally, but the PH3 will give you a setup which is more than useable day to day - fair play.

Cheers, yeah it was reading through your previous posts that made me be undecided between the PH3 and Kent PT41 but I didn't have enough info on them on clearance etc to bite the bullet and get them but tbh the set-up I've opted for will be more than sufficient to help improve my track driving as one the engine is complete I'll be doing some track days and getting the car's handling/suspensions exactly how I want it then if needs be I can go crazier...

You can PM him on here or 106 RR.... his username is Sandy309
Really good pieces of kit.. Will be interesting to see what the car makes being the first late silvertop iTB'd engine.

Seeing as someone has bumped it up I may aswell add some more pics of parts which have arrived.
My cam pulley which took 52 days in total to arrive as more had to be made probably due to KamRacing starting to sell exactly the same ones...
My cage arrived a 12 point safety devices bolt in cup cage...
(Better pics shortly )
And also put some new rubber on the car fitted them but no new pics of the car at the moment Uniroyal Rainsport 2's
Suits the car a bit more with the 50 profile tyres and for the 500 odd miles I've put through them so far all I can say is they are MUCH better than the previous Yoko S-Drives.
Also fitted an aerial bung will get pics of the car soon...

It is pretty flash lol... But with the arrival of that it means that the last of the bits I'm waiting for so now it is solely fitting and driving

I like this. Wish i'd have stuck with 8v myself then i wouldn't have wasted £3k and wouldn't have got messed about by tosspot companies that im surprised are still in business.
I like the 'instant' almost linear power of the 8v compared to the 'this feels slow, oooh i've hit 4k RPM BOOM OFF' of the 16v.
Im sure with your brakes and some decent suspension upgrades this would annihilate a standard 16v anyway..

Yeah I wanted to be different no one to my knowledge has bodied a MK2 VTR engine yet so it'll be fun once it's done to see what it can do.. But like I've said earlier in the thread I'm not pushing for BHP I want a fun drivable car as that's all that I want in a car...
3K ouch.... Yeah 8v power delivery does seem to be a nice delivery as standard but I can't really gauge as I haven't driven a 16v
And yeah, with the 1.4 xsi box and weight differences at the moment I'm definitely on par with a standard 16v

I think thats the best way power indeed corrupts!
16v you have to be above 4-5k if you want to really accelerate. Problem is you do that in say 2nd gear your rapidly approaching the legal limit in what feels like no time at all lol not very good for impromptu 'races' with mates etc.
