Decision time
Keep the back of the car as it is....
OR go stealthy
Other than that I really have not done much too the car, added some wind deflectors
Currently has a turbo back exhaust running DreamScience stage 2 remap. Hopefully will be producing around 270-280bhp
Need to get the car on the rollers
Still on my to do list is to fit my 3 gauge centre console.

Stealthy, the chrome looks cheap in comparison!
Or could do anthracite, just anything other than shiny chrome imo.

It's a Scorpion, I know what you mean about it. I considered having a new tail pipe welded on but think its more wise to change the full system. That's why I've kept it for now

I was thinking carbon, but it's the thing of the moment. So prob will keep it all black like the car above

Finally pulled my finger out and go around to a day with the car, this is what i got up to
Firstly ripping the car to bits...

Then refitting bits
Was a fun filled day but i got there in the end. The oil temp and pressure gauges just need to be wired in now. Was going to fit the sandwich plate but i remembered i would lose some oil and didn't have any to go back in... so hopefully midweek them two gauges will be up and running
Its nicer to see what the turbo is pulling and if it is working as it should and it looks bang on at the minute. Peak @ 20psi and hold around 15psi
Ill try and get a pretty video soon enough

Hi mate, just read your pm. I decided to reply on here
Thats a nice VXR you have there.
They look best in Black.
Did you buy it with the CDTI airbox conversion or do it yourself? Its something i've been thinking about doing myself, everyone raves about it over on VXRonline.
Cruisecontrol is worth getting. I didn't use it at all for the first few months as i didn't like it, but now i use it everytime i go on the motorway without even thinking.
What sort of MPG do you get out of it? I'm spending £500 a month on petrol and i only work 15 minutes drive away from my home :\
In reply to if i've done anything to mine, nope.
It has all the optional extras like the carbonfibre trim, heated leather seats, 19" alloys, bose sound system, etc. So theres not much more thats needed. The lad who had it before went for a red/black colour scheme on the outside, wrapped the roof and sprayed the grill etc.
Its weird its the most expensive car i've had and i've not washed it in a year, where as when i had my saxos/106s i was washing them everyday lol.

I bought the car with it on, but yes people seem to say it aids breathing but I can't compare it bud

ive got cruise, just need to get it programmed in now, I'm just lazy and ain't been too see anyone with Tech 2 to enable it for me
What sort of MPG do you get out of it? I'm spending £500 a month on petrol and i only work 15 minutes drive away from my home :\
MPG I average around 24, my work journey is around 6miles so 12 daily. I'm normally late in morning thou and car is due a service. When I last had it serviced it was in the high 28s to mid 29s. But I think of late I just have a heavy foot. I get around 100 miles to £25 and don't put more than £150 in a month
In reply to if i've done anything to mine, nope.

Im same with the washing, last weekend was first time I tried to wash the car myself since I got it. It needs a good detail though as black can be a pain to keep clean!
I love the red and black theme on yours, it suits them. It was my first choice but couldn't find one!
The first mod you should get if you choose to do anything is the RARB, can pick them up second hand for less than £100 and just gives a little bit more confidence around a corner. Best money I've spent on the car definitely.
Next up for me is brakes. Not sure if to just up rate discs and pads or go for the big brake kit

Had it on the RR not too long ago at the Yorkshire RR meet
Made 275 ponies and 325lbft
Near enough spot on stage two figures, depending which tuner you cross reference.
Boost was safe and AFR was great so all smiles with that too

Few little things of late. New discs and pads... If I dont feel a big enough upgrade then ill be going to 4 or 8 pots on the front!
RARB repainted and all nice
Vauxhall projector headlights and xenons so I stay on the legal side. Expensive but worth it!
Lastly just a few tester packs for the bank hol weekend cleaning session!

New car timeeeeee!!
Audi TTS
So far I love it along with its DSG box. Acceleration so smooth and quick without realising, just over 5 second to 60.
Couldn't really want much more spec other than the sat nav head unit but am already on the case too sort that out quickly.
Other plans.... nothing for this year I do not think. Next year exhaust and stage 2+ hopefully to get around 350bhp.
