That's good to hear mate! Needs someone to drive this car and really push, not sure a new owner would do that...
Yeh once the VTS is on the road I'll have a drive down and see you
May get you to do some work on it so I'm entitled to farm workshop stickers
James

easy, he's not using hi-compression pistons.
the easy way to do it is use a thicker head gasket..

yeah danny is right bud, im just running 2 headgaskets so the compression is down to about 8.1.
you can run bodies and turbo but you just have to run a standalone ecu really as as it is a pig to map due to sucking and blowing together.
it runs off map now rather than throttle position.
hope this is of some help, be happpy to answer anymore q's. cheers

in regards to compression, i know low comp pistons is about 9.1 on a sax.
but in respect to high comp e.g 10.5 .1 that normally limots your boost to about 7 psi ish.
the funny thing is from speaking to ferriday engineering who do de comp plates, he was saying world rally cars run about 13.1 compression with 30psi boost. its only the super advanced engine management that lets it run like that and not blow itself to bits!!!!
