Some pics of the new parts.
The illusive circuit plus
It has a different base cushion to the circuit but everything else is the same.
It even has that fresh out the factory smell as it hasn't been waiting in stock. emmmmmm
And the new brakes.
It's just black paint that is chipped. Need to clean them down and get them painted up in red.

Really love this progress thread keep reading it but haven't posted so far, always some great updates.
Need to know, when you pull the fire extinguisher where will it spray?

Cheers for the comment, the extinguisher run up to a t piece behind the dash and comes out of 2 blue nozzles located in front of each person. You may be able to spot them in some of the pics

Passenger seat and harnesses fitted. Looks like a finished car now.
It just fitted inside the door bars luckily.
Trimmed the 2 meters or so of excess off.
Just need wheels, which should be being purchased next week

Looks sweet that mate!
Have you thought about cutting the doors?
I thought about locking the front windows, and taking out the mechanism. Then cutting out the big section of metal that holds all the window mechanism in.
You could even make your own plastic windows
Depends how much you drive with your windows down though i guess...
My driving instructor always told me never to drive with my windows down.. incase a wasp got in, and was trapped in... then i'd crash
Never happened yet!
But yeh, you should go crazy with the weight reduction!
How long til you're 17 now?

Fair point
You could just get the rear windows? I've considered that, even though mine's just a road car really.
Also i'd quite like a non sunroof roof skin. I think they're £110 from citroen.
Those new seats look good

Ah, an intercom system would be so awesome, expensive, but awesome.

I aslo thought about the rear Windows. Would lose a lot of weight, might need to keep the spare wheel to keep the balance in order.

Getting my vtr wheels next week hopefully, people trying to convince me to get s wheels but i don't give 2 shits what they think. Not a fan of them and are heavy buggers.
And yeah i am!! My current method is leaving it with next to no fuel to try and stop me from going for a blast haha

Just started cleaning the brakes up. I then discovered that it's actually painted with about 3 different layers of hammerite. The first being red grhhh haha. So i just wire brushed the worst of the dirt off and then degreased them. Tomorrow once they are dry i will give them a good coating of red and they shall be done. Should look decent from the wheel side as they aren't chipped too bad on that side.
Would love pristine refurbed paint though
