yes mate i weighed it on digital scales and that was the reading its a standard vts rim gloss black and just the rim no tyre

just a quick question will diffrent tyres weigh more which will add weight on top of the rim weight and are vts rims lighter compared to say 106 gti rims??

Yeah... not sure about the difference though.
hmm (thinking in typing), if a OZ leggera weighs 4.9, thats 2.5 per wheel less. 10kg overall.
still 10kg off my target of 900.

Good work.
The 106 GTi rims are lighter for sure, but I can't say by how much... Different tyres will weigh different amounts. Racing tyres will be a fair amount heavier than standard tyres also.
