I dont see the point asking about MPG, if you drive properly, when just cruising it could even be increased. Less power needed to get to cruising speeds.

Its how you drive, some poeple seem to think that 40mpg out of a VTS is impossible but its very very easy. I doubt very much so with a power incrase you will lose any. You just have to drive it carefully.

you'll gain mpg if using your car through town as the power is raised and driving through town rarely increases above 3k rpm which like my cam is where the power band is.

Specialist. The quality of the map will be poor on college equipment to be fair college stuff is always a bit dodge.

Depends on the area but people seem to rave about Chipwizards, theres places all over that do it but apprantly theyre the best at it

Ideas of how much a camm'd VTS 52 plate, 60k, lowered, mapped etc would be worth.
£2500 too much?

21 to cam 11 not to cam........im sure you will make the right decision and cam it  or wait and buy an engine already cammed with an unlocked mapped ecu, i did that with my gti, i got the cammed lump for £500 then sold my old engine for £350! that works out cheaper, quicker and easier imo as my and a mate (craigb) swapped the engine over in a day
