Well, to be fair I though I'd taped the ends off to stop that from happening- still I've never been noted for my brains.

I'll try it in a bit, still have the issue of the non-fitting terminal though...

It looks the same as mine, for some reason that nut on the fuse box goes straight to the negative battery terminal, so even if you get it on nothing will power up.

I ended up just bending the ring terimanal thing then jamming it inside the positive battery connection.

I've tried that, it sets the alarm off!
