I see wot u mean mate, that must just be the flash glaring off the head unit cos its all painted fine! Everyone seems to love it so far! Just gave the car a massive clean today, all polished, protected and ready for winter. Muight remove the lights tonight and spray the inserts black so it gives that smoked effect

Talking Update 22/1/2007

First update of the year!!!!!

Ok so shortly after my last post i Diy smoked the headlights, Very pleased with the results

Also painted and fitted my Dimma Grille! Quite likeing the front end now, will have to smoke the fogs though to complete it!!

so i washed her today for the first time since my last post, The results are as follows!!!

As you can see, it's still standard at the back!!!! I was toying with the idea of leaving the lights standard as i do like them like that, but with the front lights painted, i think smoked would look better

On a more depressing note, Some little fucker turned the heat right up on the jet wash at work so i ended up with this!!

All these polish valeters

Time to paint them black me thinks!!!!

This is with smoked lights, so i think with painted badges it'll look pretty good ??????

I have a lot of plans for my baby now this year, I've almost halfed my insurance premium so that is helping my monthly outgoings!!

next up:

Lowering -50mm (would prefer -40mm spring) getting the kit for £100 off my mate who's never used it, plus the guy at the shitroen dealer up the road will do the torsion bar for 60 bucks!!!!!

Wheels- Still in two minds about this, the one thing the rozzers notice apart from a screaming exhaust is your wheels, only have two wheels in mind, S wheels or a set of rare after market Kosei Racing wheels, these are the only aftermarket wheels i really like but cannot see them on any site, anywhere!!!

And they look a little like this :

I think they are the absolute sex, My mate had them on his 11 turbo, which was subsequently prohibited by the British transport police, so he sold them to another guy at my work who had them on his wee Micra which was stolen, returned and now they are gathering dust till i can get the money to buy them!!!!

Which leads me tooooo :

Cashflow crisis

Fecking skint from christmas, spent far too much money and its gonna take about 3 months to sort it taking 5 days a month off work hasn't helped either

So time to knuckle down and take all the hours god sends and no more drink

and to top it all off, The R now need the following:

Investigation of non operating washer jets, most likely a fecked bottle from where some tart crashed into me.

Sort the extremely annoying noise from the de-cat exhaust pipe rubbing the heat shield or sumit.

Gotta lube the gear linkage its getting really stiff

Gotta service her

Check the tracking and wheels balance she's starting to judder at high speeds

New tyre needed for both the O/S/F (currently borrowing my mates wheel!) and for the spare!

and there is Cv grease behind the wheel!!! im sure u can only get driveshafts and not just a joint

So hopefully. By March/ april, we will be in full flow and big things will hopefully be happening

I love saxos

private it may have been that time, it was way before i had a job, nd there was a silver one in, silver furio and a red furio. mines got its problems wish had shopped around more instead of rushing into it. got to fix my leak which think may be solved now, new raditor, new driveshaft needs fitting, then new wing on. then its get it lowered getting grill c/c'd when getting the wing done, black or gray alloys then i dont know what after that.....

yeah well i think they are nice but not sure if i will go that route yet, like i say, got a few things to sort first of all, including ca$hflow!!!!

Not gonna get S rims, if i kept them silver it wud basically be yatesy's car or twenty other people on here, if i paint em black its like landy's so.......

i think aftermarket is the way, but wheels are the last thing on my mind ATM i'll cross that bridge when i come to it

Cheers for all the comments guys

Will get vids at some point, it sounds the tits when driven hard, not too sure at low revs bit too noisy but cant have it my way all the time!

Mines does sit at a slight angle, but the brackets on the rear box are adjustable so i'll sort it eventually, too lazy at the moment! U got the OMP one on now then?
