I'm BACK!
I've been very quiet of late as its been the build up to the proof!
The week before last I rang ATSpeed and got my car booked in for the following Thursday to be rolling road set up, so then I rang a recovery firm to get the car down there, who picked it up Wednesday night and delivered it to ATSpeed Thursday!
After a couple of phone calls about problems they were having I decided, this morning to head down Essex to do some of the donkey work required to get it into a condition to be mapped.
The main problem was the way we had got the throttle cable was too difficult to remove (pretty much impossible) meaning the carbs weren't easy to remove meaning they couldn't rejet them.
So I got there this morning, got it all stripped out and with a couple of choice modifications to the bracketry and we were ready to go!
We got the car onto the rollers at about 11 this morning and after about 7 jet changes we finally got a HP figure out of the engine!
144.7HP at the wheels
104.8 Torques at the wheels
Meaning, about :
175.9HP at the flywheel
127.4 Torques at the flywheel
I have to admit that I have had a brilliant, fun, if very stressful day with some really good lads!
I really couldn't recommend ATSpeed more, as long as you're thick skinned, they utterly know what they are on about and are a good crack to work with to boot!
Also sorry to Mattyvts (I think) it was, for holding him up all day for his second power run!

The engine spec ended up as:

Newman Ph 4 cams
Saxo VTS adjustable cam pulleys
Saxo VTS valve springs and lifters
Wossner high compression pistons
Pec forged con rods
Lightened and balanced crank and flywheel
Race big and bottom end bearings
R1 carbs on a bogg brother manifold

Glad you are pleased with the results.
This is the first bike carbed VTS that we have done here and I have to say we was all pleased with the results, bear in mind how many cars we do a week here so this is not a compliment that we hand out often.
Shame you have not mentioned the cambelt!! I will leave it for you to tell as I dont want to tell tales!!! Although if asked nicely I could do.
Pleased you had a good day and our name is Atspeed Racing, not ATSpeed racing.
Look forward to seeing you again MIChael

Cheers for the comments everyone!
As far as I can remember the pistons are 79mm but it was a long time ago I bought the pistons and got it rebored etc.
Wow, thank you, as I said I had a really fun day!
As for the cambelt, I MIGHT have gone SLIGHTLY on the tight side with the tension on my cambelt! lol
Sorry for getting your name wrong AtSpEeD! :-)

A little on the tight side.......a LITTLE!!!!
Thats a bit like discribing the Captain of the Titanic saying to his first officer "did you hear that little bang"

When we compliment a car like this, we mean it. We do 2/3 cars a day, ranging from rubbish to serious race cars worth many thousands of pounds. So when we are impressed by a power result it must be good. There are many cars that give good power, but the thing with this one is that it drives very smooth with no drama. This is due to the bike carbs. This would be a pleasant car to drive down the shops and still scare your mum when you press the loud pedal.
