I think i hold the record for getting shafted with my car mate for the money i've spent i could have had a brand new 16v sat in there with tb's, cage etc everything im missing at the moment! Just be careful is all i'll say...
Im not saying atspeed are the worst in the business but when i take my car anywhere i want to feel like they WANT to work on the car and that they WANT to see the happy look on my face when i get it back rather than just take my money. They should go the extra mile as thats basically what will bring me back.

i put my trust into an old bodyshop i used to use and what did they do a crap bodge job! i've been rigged about £2000 grand altogether from a crap bodyshop, had to start from scratch which you haven't! it's your own fault for buying a engine from hicrappyheads! should of bought one from here, carworx were a heck of alot worse than Atspeed Was i can assure you! Atspeed have been in business since early 1980's, wheres carworx had only been in business not aslong, rather Atspeed over some companies on here is all i'm saying! from now best to see their work and watch them work on cars in person before deciding to use them or not thats what i do, i'll be checking up and visiting all companies i use from now on to make sure no wool is pulled over my eyes! anyway don't want to ruin Wes thread as i rather see progress than loads of rubbish in thread.

Progress
Not really an update as I'll do a big a update on the weekend with pictures but just to keep you in the loop....
All the rear suspension was done yesterday, which consisted of fitting:
Bilstein GrpN Dampers
Fitting 21mm Torsion Bars
Fitting 25.4mm Rear ARB
I've raised the car up so it sits at about 30mm now so hopefully no tyre rubbing...
The rear ARB was a complete pain in the ass as the end plate would come off. But as soon as we source a slide hammer it was out in no time
That's all for now front suspension will be done today.

Will be nice to see what sort of figures you get with the TB's. Certainly pleasing to see a few more people starting to tinker with the 8v's of late. The 8v is more than capable, plus Saxo's thrive in the twisties so IMO its much more of a thrill maintaining speed over a long distance than it is for the few seconds it takes getting up to speed.
Been there and done that with the 16v's and with the Ax im staying on the 8v route with a few plans in mind
Best of luck with the progress over coming weeks mate, will be nice to see a quality job done and a result that makes you smile with the hard work being worthwhile

Thank you!!!! Yeah I'm excited to see what it will produce obviously I'd like it to be a nice healthy gain but at the end of the day I modify the car so I enjoy it..So as long as the noise is there I'm sure the smile won't disapear.
And yeah it's all well to go and do it to a 16v but pfft theres no fun in that I'd like to be different.
Oh and another little update the car is now at atspeed

Throttle bodies were around 600 iirc I bought them so freaking long ago...
And trackdays vary for an open pit lane it's about 1-200 quid...But then you have fuel travel and all the other stuff with it..
