Default My 175.9hp N/A Euro Satin Black Saxo! BBS wheels! Trax update

Right, I've just got myself a Saxo VTS after having one a few years ago and wanting another one ever since.
I bought a R reg 86000 mile VTS for £700 which I was well happy with, but it also came with a sub and amp which I sold for £50 and I'm currently in the process of selling the headlights and grill so bonus.

But I'm going to make a bit of a project out of this slowly modifying it over the next few months, I have an idea of what I want to do just a case of sourcing the funds and time.
We're hoping to capitalise on all the experience we gained over the last 2 years with our Clio track car project.

First job on the car was to sort out 2 holes in the floor some previous owner had kindly put in using a trolley jack! Idiots

With that sorted we decided to remove the grill and headlights as they weren't to my liking. We got a pair of headlights and a Mk1 grill as I've always really liked the origional grills.
I fitted the headlights but had plans for the grill so the car has been looking a bit 'rat look' for a week or so.

I got a second patern grill off eBay to use to cut a section out of to debadge the origional.

Rather impressed with the outcome and as far as I can work out, it hasn't been done before!!

We'll keep you posted on further developments as they happen
