ROFL!
Thanks mate, the badger was my pride and joy and thats the one iv enjoyed far far more.
The westy was just a nightmare since iv had it, iv spent all my money fixing it, not modding it.
So yes, my new car is not a Sax...Jordysports knows what it is, as we were talking remap already haha
Hope yours is still going ok, not been on in a while!
lol

Mate my sax went ages ago now, Old Gertrude decided it was time to commit Suicide and go to the big Saxo heaven in the sky, was very upsetting sending her to be crushed, but in all fairness, she wasn't very well after she failed with something like 36 major problems on the MOT + a page of advisories lol
Tell me the new one, I've always been nice too you and you wont tell me
Im no longer sending you kisses

I wont be picking it up for another week and i cant be bothered to not let on anymore!
Lippy...you werent far wrong...
...it is....
...A TDi...
...But...
...Not a VW....
....Its....
....A SEAT!....
Only picture i have for time being
Its a 2002 Seat Ibiza TDi SE
It has the fullest service history i have ever seen. Right back from when it was made. EVERYTHING that its has done is recorded.
Its on 108K but its diesel and well looked after so will be fine
Needs cam belt done soonish, but i'll get that done after xmas.
Have driven it once and it felt beautiful. Not been able to see speed of it yet, but it is a Turbo so there should be something there.
It's all paid for and insured, just got to wait until the 1st December to bring it home as it needs tax. Apart from that we're good to go!
Cant wait!

New car looks nice, remap sounds good as well. A mate recently had his 306 remapped and it's improved the torque so much. Only regret he has is not having dynoed before and after to see the difference on paper.

Shame about breaking the saxo. Was a nice motor.
I have a seat ibiza pd130 currently running 190bhp until i strap my new turbo down.
Totally different feel to the saxo but with lots of torque they are ace.

Yeh i'd love to buy an old mk1 vts and just make a track toy out of it one day. Still cant afford the insurance on one though!
The tdi engines are pretty amazing... like the newer ones have the same bhp figures as the older engines (like mine) but have much higher torque figures. Like yours will have more torque than mine.
I still dont understand them... when i think my car has only slight less torque than my dads impreza... but mine takes twice the time to get to 60
Has this marked the end of your messing with cars then?
