yeah, that'd do it!!
ddi you look at the spoox engine mount kits?
http://www.spoox.co.uk/catalog/produ...aaad7a764a620f
i have these on my car (but obviously our BE lower mount) really recommend them, do the job, and look great.
remember those and some shiny allen bolts, new nuts around your engine bay will REALLY set it off
colin.

They look brilliant!
My car needs a lot of finishing off with things like that, but finances won't allow currently!
By then end of this project my car is going to have a lot of serious race gear on it! All wasted lol!

I just love that bay! The race pedal box looks very interesting. Easy to set up and use?

Cheers everyone!
The pedal box was an absolute mission to fit, I think I go into some detail on some earlier pages in this thread, but I wouldn't advise fitting one to anyone.
Using the pedal box isn't too bad, you have to press the brake pedal hard, just takes some getting used to, but I drive a lot of different cars in a day, so I'm used to that.
The badge, I've kept quiet about where its from, (I'm sure someone will now say) but its old and was difficult and expensive to get hold of, then had to be chromed!
To be honest I'm currently sick of the sight of the car, I've fitted the driveshaft, need to fit brakes all round (which I've got at work) and sort the damaged engine steady that did the driveshaft, but once they're done the car will probably be for sale.

Snapping shaft could be because off the diff in the box. I snapped like 4/5 shafts then got told the diff maybe locking up so changed the box and been fine since.
Being low does put stress on the shaft but not that much to make them snap i dont think, mine was down 90/100mm and didnt snap any shafts untill the box started messing up.

I've looked and I did mention on the last page that I'd found the engine steady had failed causing the engine to move exessively pulling the inner cv apart rather than snapping it!
As for selling it, I'm just fed up with the thing now!
Sturggling to think of any real reason to keep it at them moment, apart from the fact noone will probably buy it lol

Echo this comment Beanie! It may be p*ssing you off now but when it all comes together and things are working again for more than 5 minutes you'll see why all the hard work was worth it!

Wrong way round lol, I'm Moo with the Saxo and my brother Beanie has the Clio! lol
The Clio can't be wrong, it is going well, 230hp n/a and 780Kg! lol
Apparently its uber fast but I haven't been out in it yet!
Both should be at USC so it'll be interesting to see what times we can get out of them, though it will be very busy and we'll probably not be pushing the cars very hard on their first run!
Been busy with the cars again tonight, fixed the engine steady, fitted front and rear discs and pads and fitted the cambelt cover (which I wasn't sure whether I'd ever get round to), so the car is ready for sale now if I go down that route.
Thinking of doing something special with the plaque on the cambelt cover
