You're suuuuuuuch an idiot selling this. I mean no offence but you're a proper clown dude.
£3500, and how much does it stand you at? A lot more than that i bet.
You've only just finished the engine!
Seriously cannot get my head around it! Keep the car, use it next show season (this one's nearly over tbf)... Then decide if you want to keep.

Little bit of an update.
My brother and I have been working hard to get our cars finished recently.
My brothers 30th birthday was on the 8th Aug and USC was on 6-7-8th Aug and it also seemed like both of our cars would finally be ready for this weekend so, it all kind of fell into place really.
So on Saturday morning my brother and few mates went off to Santa pod and I turned up about 14:00 as I was working in the morning, just in time for a torrential down pour of rain FFS.
So after about 2 hours of waiting for the rain to stop we decided to sack it off for the day, headed back to the campsite, met up with MatteVTS and had a BBQ and some beer.
The next day we woke up to glorious sunshine, which was a relief, so I went and did some runs and a couple of photo shoots with my brother and mates cars.
First run, I set a 15sec at 96mph which I wasn't very happy about
Second run I managed to line up next to my brother which I was very happy about
But then with some utterly utterly aweful clutch control (I'm still getting the hang of the pedal box) I had a massive lack of power and rolled to stop.
Pushed the car back from the line (rather red faced), pulled the bonnet and found that the carbs had come loose.
So went off in my mates TVR to get some tools, re attrached the carbs, and managed to do a run, this time setting a 14.7sec at 96mph which I was happier with.
Third run I managed to set a 14.5945sec at 96.52mph which as improving still I was still happy with and a mate of mine videod as well.

This was the best run I managed which I was rather happy with, when you take into account I had 185 front tyres at 30psi with a full tank of fuel and full interior and also I haven't driven the car much.
I'm sure the car definitely has more to give.
Also a quick video of my brothers Clio on its first ever run with him driving it for the first time in anger (exscuse the terrible start lol)

Cheers for looking, if anyone could put my Youtube links enbedded for me that would be much appreciated.

We both had a brilliant time, Bean said he couldn't have asked for a better birthday which was nice to hear!
Would have been nice to see you guys there, its always good to chat!
Yeah the combo van is a mate of ours car, its got a Astra VXR engine in it, and he set a 15sec 1/4 mile (my car was faster )
Also just fitted a J4 coolant temp sensor (cheers sexy_gt) and now my coolant gauge works which is a nice weight off

something i picked up on,
the car has also been mapped and dyno run, with so little miles on a built engine?
this is a very nice car, i like the look of it alot.
but why do people always have some sort of reason for not gettin the time they expect on the 1/4??
anyways, very nice car, and a credit to you for the work thats went into this build.
a flocked dash, some gti leathers and it would be perfect.

Yeah, the mapping was pretty hardcore on the engine and it wouldn't run before hand so that had to be done before it could have been run in! I think Atspeed ran it in a bit on the dyno, so I'm sure it will be ok.
I don't know why, but I thought it was worth putting up how the car run the 1/4 mile before anyone was disappointed. I guess its similar to the way that people who see a car that has has hundreds of hours and thousands of pounds spent on it and instantly say how they'd change it! lol

Doing a bit of tidying up and sorting loose ends so the car looks as good as it should really.
Finally got round to repainting the tail lights (something that has been mentioned to me a few times). I think they look so much better, although I've had a small reation on one and have run out of paint, but you get the idea.
Before:
After:
Rather pleased! Although I've just realized I took pictures of the wrong tail light in the after pic lol
More little bits and bobs this weekend... probably

Small update here!
Continuing to tidy up and finish off the interior of the car, for the time being, if I keep it, HUGE plans in the future.
First thing I did was set about a digital dial conversion of the car, as the old dials were nasty at best.
So last week, I got my haynes manual (massively underrated in my opinion) looked up all the wiring diagrams and set about making up a list of all the pin designations!
Saturday came around I set about changing the dials over.
Next I set about the wiring, soldering and heat shrinking the wires
I have tidyied up the wiring HUGELY since this pic was taken!
Next plugged the new dials, took the car out for a run and to my amazment, everything works! SO HAPPY!
Got home and had a look on here and found a conversion guide on here on how to do it, but when I checked it against my list it was all different! Very odd!? But anyway mine works
Also got my A pillar trims fitted (some black sensorless ones coming soon) and my aerial lead fitted, so the car is now functioning a lot more like a car than ever before
