Wow!! Seems bit too cheap mind, mite be high milage or something. Mind you i would love it, thing is the insurance is way out of my league

Would still love to buy it, if there is any chance of me being able to afford it.

How are you going to be able to afford the insurance on any car with a 16v dropped in? if you cant afford a 106gti?

You buy a car registered as a 1.4 or 1.1 on the V5. And yes i understand the complications this can cause. Ill look into gti insurance prices later on.

Haha, depends, if it was a minter id just make shure it has leathers, gloss black strips, full pusport exhaust, BMC induction, clean/repaint engine bay.

Otherwise id just go crazy and strip it out, zorst, cams, induction, remap s1 inlet

The one clsoe to me is far from a minter like but i think its low mileage, so with £200 odd spent on it it will be a minter and a good deal really, i havnt seen it myself my brother grabbed a pic to show me, if i see it tomorrow ill grab a pic for you and check the speck, reg etc, would you prefer another saxo or 106? the S1's are the shizz like

Lol thanks, after riding in a GTI the other day i was amazed how fast they are but im pretty shure the insurance is way out of my leauge but ill try be optomistic.

I also put new rear bades on my car today and im going to replace the door clips shortly so im staring to refine the car, make it more sellable.

Went down the shitter mate. I did an 'update' dummy quote as if i was starting uni with 1 year ncb and quinn said i have to ring up for a quote. Admiral wated £1700 or something. Even a VTR was £1400. Ill obviously try again when insurance is due and im hoping i can get a good quote. But unless i get a job a GTI might not be possile.

Although i was thinking of not reneweing my insurance until christmas as i wont need my car in the 1st term of uni.
