yea they are tiny, and can be quite fiddly. You need a steady hand, some tweezers and a soldering iron with a pointed tip.

and here is the guide:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
LED DIALS GUIDE
1) Remove the dials from the vehicle
2) remove the outer case by pulling the clips back
3) remove the dial needles. this is done buy just pulling the speed/rev ones off with ur hand, for the other ones use some plyers and be carefull, also note where the needles are set.
4) now the dial transfers can be removed
5) spin the unit over and unclip he circuit board
6) you now need to desolder the old leds and resolder the new ones on. take your time and use some tweesers to help as there small and fiddley
7) once there all done test the unit to make sure they all work
8) refit and admire your handy work

HA HA i work for Maplin they are very extorshinate but can be good for the odd resistor or battery box lol nice dials, im thinking of doing the same. thanks for the guide

great guide, just did mine but i have a question about it: does the low fuel warning light and the high temp light come on just before you start your car? I think these two dont work any more. I've tested the leds separately and then they work fine. Any idea how i can check if they still work?

This is an excellent guide! Did mine the other day and they look great. Found it much easier to undo the bolts on the steering column rather than mess around with the air bag though.
