Mauritius Blue VTR: The End - Saxperience

1998 Saxo VTR
Purchased 22nd September 2007

Hey I'm Matty thought id let people know what I'm driving and what I'm doing to it. (sorry about the different sizes on the photos, some were taken with my phone and other with my camera)

Here are some photos of when I First got it.

Pretty much standard apart from missing the Saxo badge, the cigarette lighter and having a hideous gear knob.

Next it was down to the scrap yard to find a Saxo badge and a cigarette lighter which fitted neatly in my pocket as i walked out saying couldn't find anything to the bloke. I also removed my rear wiper, think it rear improves the back end.

After a week of having a tape player I bought a Pionoeer DEH-4800MP for £100 2nd hand. And then yesterday I bought some mesh to do my front grill. I also got a VTR badge and some paint too.

It only took me about half an hour to do the front grill but I didn't really do that good of a job on it. However iv got loads of mesh left over so I might give it another go next week sometime. I also started painting my VTR badge a metallic black colour which I'm also planning on doing my interior trim with too.

Abit chavtastic but i like it.

Gorgeous colour, i preferred the grill how it was before to be honest mate... Looks a nice motor though.

Thanks alot!, when i went to look at it its the first time id seen that colour.

Yea hopefully going to get it lowered soon! The bulbs are just standard as far as I'm aware they just look bright in the photos cos the flash is turned off. As for the building, its called 'The Brick Train' its a big time capsual.
