I like it mate. I done the same thing with my side strips. Black side repeaters would finish the sides off and tie in with the front and rear lights.
And fair play for doing it yourself. Looks to have a good finish on the paint job

What have you done to that beautiful example of a mk1 vtr oh my you ruined her she was perfect before, now i know why its not good to get bored with a car, you should of sold her
Sorry i do not like that one bit each to their own and though, looks like top work and hard work but i liked it the way it was

sick of all the standerd looking saxo and as alot of peeps on here kbow i was very bored have the look of the car but like the car its self so.....LOL
i have trying to stick with the standard shape-ish......
the reason the doorlock still in is the car has a prob with the locking no idea wot up with it peeps have looked and cannot find anything!!
also the boot spoiler i wood have takan it off but....we took the bolts off it then tryed getting it off no chance!!! we lifted the back off the car off the ground!!!!!
wheels??? hmmm well deep dish maybe brock b2's well maybe
as someone has sed alot of work in little time well it carries on now!! a new alarm,wheels and cream leather before april(donnyshow)

you only fillerd the side strips?
if so there goin to crack due to vibration after a while plus the filler will start to sink.
should have got them fibre glassed then fillerd.
id have removed them fully and instead got wide arches like simo's  would have looked even more nuts dude.
but yehhh welcome to the even more modified want to be original squad  .
