Problems with the tyre size and the flat arch
Hi,
I start congratulating for this forum which is really nice must say and a good source of informations.
I start introducing my saxo 1.1 1997 slightly modded after a car accident

My problem with the alloys (15" rims and tyres 195/45-15) is when I have 2 people on the back the wheels touch the arches
Any trick to solve this issue apart of cutting them and looking for the VTR/VTS arches and bumpers?
BR and thanks in advance
Alex

I've cut them till the few mm of plastic rubber but it still rubs with 4 heavier people in a car...

Smoked headlights maybe?

Thanks!
I'm thinking of them but haven't seen them instead on pictures..afraid of too much red-black...
No rubbing at all now and perfect fit!

Looks good! How come you went for 165? You notice any drop in grip?

Thanks! Needs more lowering on the front....and then on the back I went for 165 because it's 1.0 and it's much better for driving on them than on 195, lighter on the wheel, while parking, cruising etc...I'm driving slowly all the time but I think it has less grip but wheels look much better and bigger!
Soon with more updates
