Taking Shape..
Well, the car is finally taking shape and my visions are becoming reality! The low, stealth\murdered look (i prefer the term stealth).
Had the Raceland 4-2-1 manifold fitted on Friday, and bought a Supersprint Race centre pipe too, topped off with my Ashley backbox. I recommend a de-cat or manifold in general to anybody! With all of those put together its very rally and rasp, pop and bangs all day long!
Now for some pics! (The windows are 100% limo tint, but my camera managed to see through them with no FLASH! )
The "I'm not drunk, Just Avoiding Pot-holes sticker"
The Raceland manifold, heatwrapped thanks to Lee_VTR
As you can probably tell, the car is absolutely filthy, but i needed to update the thread, so the wash had to wait
The Next Step..
Purchased a Kent Cam off Tommyhine a month or so ago, and that will hopefully be fitted start of the new year.
After that its new forced enclosed induction, and a general tart up of the bay, powder-coated white rocker, black upper strut brace.

Cheers mate Yeah the next plans are general tart up of the bay, with strut brace, powder coated rocker in white, enclosed induction with a tarty carbon housing.
I do have a Kent Cam waiting to be fitted, but thats going to wait, as i've decided im going to go a slightly different route with engine. Going to be switching the head for a 90bhp silver top head, then fit the rallye inlet.
Then either upgrade my cam to a PH3 as they are more lairy (sp)? so i would see better gains than the Kent one with or without re-map, but not 100% decided on which cam to use.
I've heard figures around the 119\120bhp running the inlet, so it would make more sense than just stick my Kent in, remap, and get only 115 or so. Thoughts?

Yes there is, and not just the offside, the nearside rear is the same looks like at some point the previous owner tried their own respray on those i think at some point, its faded and and has got like speckles of paint, its really strange! They are on my to-do list along with colour coding the plastics

yeah those plans sound good to me, ive heard that power figure is easily achievable on that set up. Not done anything like that myself yet as ive not got the funds.
If a remaps gonna set you back a few hundred have you considered a standalone ecu?
In the long run it could be a good idea if you change loads because you can just get the map for that set up and put it through the software yourself.
Im looking at a c2 vts engine conversion sometime in the new year thats a quick way to get a big power gain

Cheers for the comments folks, all appreciated as well as ideas lol
Update: Rallye Inlet and 90bhp Silvertop head..
Got myself a Rallye inlet the other week at a bargain price off eBay thanks to my main man Liam_VTR who spied it for me while I was sunning it up in Dubai while you lot were freezing and getting covered in snow
Now i knew the inlet wouldn't fit on my 2003 cylinder head, so i had to source a 90bhp silvertop one, which in perfect timing DannySkittles had one with 60k, so a short trip to Walsall later and I had the cylinder head along with the VTR inlet, coilpack, TB etc, which I'll be selling as i don't need them
Still need to source a few more bits, the Rallye TB and 106Gti\Derv throttle cable and then its straight onto ordering the parts to start rebuilding the cylinder head so i know its all kusty and sending it off for a port and polish!
I've got a Kent PT30 camshaft i need to get rid of to make room for a PH3 to compliment the inlet, I know your going to say "just put a rallye head on" but apparently i run the risk of bent valves, not nice!
