James, who colour coded your bump strips and splitter? Car looks good mate, although it needs a spoiler, and get the exhaust up on clamps and sort the exhaust out, that must catch like a bitch, I know it did when Karl had it!

Thanks for all the comments! Nice to read through after gettin ome from a long day at work lol. Yer Coopers unfortunatly lol. Yep done all the bodywork myself so far, plus gave it a service. I have had to change the fan belt cos that started squeaking badly, so that has stopped now.

Max, suprisingly i have had no problems with the exhaust, just dont particurlary like it hanging that low! The bumper did come like that already £50 quid for the front and rear i believe, bargain lol. But i do plan to carry on the colour coded theme at a later date, i do have the dameged old bumper still so gonna have a practice on that and see how it looks first and if i mess it up think i will leave it to the proffesionals!bI have a spoiler to go on its just gettin round to taking it off the old boot. Plus i still dont like how the new boot is sitting.
The cars going into a garage to have the engine problem looked at tommorow that it picked up just over a week ago now, i have wrote abot it in a previous thread. Fingers crossed its an easy fix.
oh and Rich i live on Towncourt??

The place its going is run/owned by a bloke how lives opposite to me, its called Spectrum Auto Services, think its Crystal Palace way, know him quite well so hopfully it will get sorted quick, only spoke to him about the problem earlier today as he has been away.
Haha you got out then! what have you been doing since you left? im in my last year there now got A level Business exam tommorrow probably should have been more focussed on that than the car lol.
Off to try and do a bit more revision now, so that means i will be back on here in well probably 5 miutes tops

And aswell as that you will have to get a replacement window if you want your spoiler on because there doesn't look like there are holes for it to be screwed into?
Slam it and go euro if this is the case.

Didnt think Mk1s need the holes in the windows for the spoiler. i thought a whole lot of somthing like no nails would do the job?
Would love a euro car, but if i was gonna do it i would want to do it properly, which means that i need cash! Somthing i dont have any of at the moment. I do have some ideas that i want to do with it, but if i was contemplating spending the amount it would cost to go euro think i would be better of putting the money into getting a new car first. Max you know as well as i do, if not more, that it hasnt been looked after particularly well so would probably work out cheaper to get a newer saxo and start from there.
I can always dream

Can't be 100% sure on the MK1 spoiler, but who knows? Better off asking in the help threads etc.
It hasn't been treated to bad, most Saxo's have been ragged to fuck, in a way it's what they were designed for lol, just mod it yourself and use the car as a learning curve, it has cost you next to nothing so just make it your project, it looks nice at the front though, you've done really well mate, keep it up.
How did the computer reading go today by the way? Me you and Jordan need to sort out a meet in the S.E Section.

Dont think he means that it is the same saxo mate, think he would of spotted that it was the same car before and the place the photos were taken before he noticed the little fact that it had umv on the number plate
