Its such a difference from when i was first looking at this car, really glad that you have followed through with your plans. Got to be one of my favorite saxos in concept, but just needs those little bits doing to make it stand out.
What are you doing with the white steelies now?
James

i know i thought you had left me ;( lol
well early next week my new suspension/brakes are being fitted, and ive got my usual bodyshop guy to get me a quote to repair/spray the front bumper, spray and fit my mk2 spoiler, de-badge and spray my grille and spray my mirrors i think thats enough stuff to be getting on with lol once all that little lot is done ill be moving on to the interior again, im thinking gti rear bench and some faux leather black raceland recliners and a mk2 digi dial conversion, then i think i'll pretty much be done, if ive got money left over i wouldnt mind a 4-2-1 mani and a custom back box but i wont do anything else engine wise i dont fancy forking out more money on this bloody saxo lol i wouldnt mind getting a bora next and start a new project

I'm scared of "finishing" my car. It's an expensive hobby!
Sounds like you've got a decent amount of stuff on the go!
I want to get some recliners at some point. One thing i don't know.. is how to use the standard seat belt. Because the buckle part is attached to the standard seat, rather than the car. Is it is simple as just bolting it to the new seat or what?
I'm confused
I want to keep my rear seats.. don't want harnesses in a road car
I should be camming mine in the next few weeks, keep an eye on my thread

it definitely is expensive!
yea im not sure on the seat belts either there must be a way of un-bolting them, and yea i dont want harnesses i dont want it to look "track" i just want some nice, supportive front seats, i wouldnt use raceland seats for the track they are really only for show imo
dont worry i'll keep an eye out lol

I just had a look under the plastic cover at the side of the seat.
There's the pretensioner thingy, and the buckle looks like it's rivetted to that.
I'm guessing you could weld/bolt the whole lot to the new seat.
I dunno... It's got to be safe hasn't it
I might make a thread asking about it

haha, will do, just going to wait for the sun on Monday!
I found some on ebay also for so cheap, but they're such a wierd size. We'll see though, the car came with some ridiculous rims, they're massive, low profile tyres, curbed as you like. It's only a flat arch, looks like a jeep atm!

It's really coming on now and I think it's got the potential to be a really nice car, just the back end really doesn't look right to me for some reason. I think the spoiler will help with that though, is there any way you could get a plate to fit the recess perfectly also?
Anyway nice work.
