looking at this thread now really makes me want a bike again, i loved my first one a zzr600d1 i was at college and sunk every penny into it to get it like i wanted.
i remeber once at a track taster session a lad on a cbr 600rr was laughing at a fat lad on a sports tourer. shame he knew nothing and missed the gsxr nissen 6 pots, rear sets, semi slicks, full braided lines, the massive sprocket on the rear and the fact my sliders were demolished. needless to say i smoked that bozo. to which he then asked if i had an 1100 in it hahaha. it was fully tricked out on ohlins suspension too.

only one from when i first did it before all the bits went on.
 [/QUOTE]
this point it had the micron serpant headers and can, ohlins springs in the front and ohlins rear shock +4 rear and -1 front sprocket braided lines, k&n, dynojet. i fitted the rear sets after i touched the standard pegs down round melbourne loop on my first ever track session of donnington. and they were conti race attacks on the bike.
doesnt it look dated in comparison lol
nm it was good till it was stolen.
take your brave pills and get on track tonts

brave pills . . . i think maybe it might be worth paying out for some track insurance and taking it from there lol!
i would love a bike, looking pretty basic and tricking the shizz out of it!
ive been looking into rear sets, but tbh i think id benifit from them, more Bling factor rather than position! as nice as it would be to tuck everything up and back abit! id buy them to be bright purple and look good!
i got to go on a course for work this month! up in reading! fair distance from Plymouth for just a few hours! so looking like its going to be a fun blast

So your probably gonna flip it trying to get there.
My cressent tuned k5 gixxer 6 is quick but won't touch a 1000 off the line.
Sorry but your bullshit got on my tits. Rant over.
Either way nice bike.

I agree with some of this. Tbh you're going to have to do very well to get a 2.5 second 0-60, not sure just going down a tooth on the front sprocket will do it really.
130 at the wheel is unrealistic imo, that's not far off World Supersport power, not achievable with just a full system. Doubt your bike is making 117 at the wheel as standard, don't think it's going to be over 110 really. You'd do well to get 117 at the wheel with a full system.
Not sure on the carbon swingarm either really, I've only ever seen 2 bikes with one, and I think one of them was Stoner's Ducati? Before you start messing about with that, you'd be far better off getting carbon wheels. BSTs would make soo much more difference, combined with a decent shock, Ohlins or similar, would be quality.
Oh on another note, I don't think you can get track insurance that covers you crashing. Afaik it only covers mechanical failures, could be wrong on that though.

fuck all that MOD 1 MOD 2 shit!
im lucky i didnt have to do that crap!... it just seems pointless now, aswell as very expensive!
but hopefully its going to keep alot of dicks, off bigger bikes! making the roads ALOT safer!
shame they can still scream around on their 125 crossers and hairdryers!

Ok so, treating myself abit!
Gold pazzo levers with purple adjusters : both clutch and front brake!
8k hid and halo lights
Rear seat cover
400 bucks! But the lights are being shipped from america! The rear seat cowl is genuine yam parts! And well levers, they were cheap at 120 bucks the pair! Ftw!
Looking into some rear sets! Hopefully in gold too to match the levers!
Custom tonto stickers need printing for the lower belly!
And a few carbon parts to get ordered up too! funfun!
