Hi Paul,
Really good now within the first week had to sort a few niggles such as the clutch and lambda sensor but other than that it seems to be running top notch not had no issues, spent the past week detailing washing polishing ect and working (cleaning) under the bonnet looks spotless now..
took it for a good drive saturday night and im loving it..
got the m.o.t in March so hoping all should be well...
got a oil filter going to get some oil and plugs this weekend and service her doesnt really need it but i want it done so i know it been done.. ect..
also a quick question was you the owner whom m.o.t'd it last march if you dont mind me asking buddy.. Thanks for message.. Cheers Dan.

Just digged out the info mate with the advisory details, in red writing is what I paid to have done:
Quote:
Date of test: March 12th 2010
Inspection Authority: Nationwide Autocentres, Greyfriars Place, Stafford
Advisory notice was issued for the following:
001 Nearside front Headlamp aim too high [1.6] Headlamp Alignment £13
002 Offside front (bulb fitted incorrect) Headlamp aim aimed so that it dazzles other road users [1.6] Bulb fitted correctly and aligned
003 Offside rear axle beam has excessive vertical movement between stub axle and axle beam [2.5.A.1a] New VTS ABS axle fitted £350
004 Rear Exhaust has a major leak of exhaust gases [7.1.2a] Rear Silencer Repaired £30
005 (due to exhaust blowing] Emissions not tested [7.0] Emissions retested and passed
006 Front (90% worn) brake pad(s) wearing thin [3.5.1f] New Mintex front brake pads £30
007 Offside inner rear tyre worn close to the legal limit [4.1.D.1] New tyre £40
|
Also had to get a new O/S/R caliper fitted as the bleed nipple was sheared off so another £120 to the bill so in total for the car to pass last years MOT I forked out: £573
