The jap scene is pretty retarded tbh, all the 'scenes' are pretty similar. Just a bunch of bummers with tunnel vision.
One thing I do like about the jap scene is when driving my s14 is if I drive past another 14, s body, skyline etc I get a friendly thumbs up. When I drive the saxo and I see another saxo, I get a spotty teenager giving me evils.

Exactly this, applies for the VW scene aswel.
I broke down in my golf, wheel nuts weren't done up tight enough and sheered off.. complete nightmare
another dub owner came past and helped me right out.
If it was in a saxo I would of been spat on/pissed on and probably my car burnt out when I went off to buy some new nuts lol

An '05 Renault Clio 1.5 dCi, was the biggest pile of shit I ever owned and cost me a whole lot of money when I bought it to save money, hate that car and ruined Renault's for me, absolute pile of wank.

I hate anything new that looks like a cross between a bubble and a shoe box - but everyone thinks they're cool because they have Sport or S in their name (Ford Tiesto's, Focus's, Meganes, new Corsa's, Clios) . So any new car really.
I like the angry looking scene of 2000-2002.

I hate Micra's, but I think that's more the twatty old drivers that knock people off of motorbikes because they can't pull around a parked car, without going completely over the other side of the road..
Other than that, Multipla's, G-Whiz, Starlets and S13's (other than sileighty's)

I'm glad some folk's think the same as me regard's VW's. They aren't all that well built anymore. The old stuff is that old it can't help but rattle nowadays. And they aren't as reliable as folk make out at all. My dad's garage has so much german car's in you'd think it's all they do!
Regard's the scene's both the Jap scene and Dub scene is rather retarded. I hate how up a scene's arse some people can be, ruins it in my eye's.
Probably what i like about the French scene tbh... The fact there isn't much of one. It's just people who like car's.
Worst car... I'm going to have to ponder on that one.

Saxo Scene - Rev of the engine or bwaarrrp BANG or race at the traffic lights type of acknoledgment.
I like the car I drive, get acknoledgement of alsorts of people, quite a few oldies too. Had an executive guy in a BM estate nod at me as he over took me on the motorway. Middle aged guy in an evo 9 beep and wave, and countless others in just one weekend. Loving it!

thats a fair point, the s13 kind of looks like a ford probe, the later models of the s13 are nice though

You driving the 330 still? Surprises me that anyone would acknowledge you in one of them, BM's aren't exactly uncommon...

Speaking of which.. that seems to be the latest thing with turbo'd cars.
Literally every time I drive past one lately they lift off, so I can hear they've got a mad sik dump valve. Even had a fackin VW Transporter do it the other day.

From experience,i can safely say i hate Saxo's.Although i do appreciate a nice clean,standard,VTR/S to look at.
As for hating Corsa's,isn't that just standard practice for Saxo drivers/forum members??Mostly folk with fuk all experience of them.
|
i completely agree with this, corsas are better built than saxos tbh they dont handle as well out of the box but are far more comfortable for everyday use. (ive owned two corsas and two saxos in the past and driven many at work btw)

Any Honda.
Why because I don't like the styling on almost all of them and think vtec is way way over rated.
